Between May 9th to 11th, 2019, China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) appointed an assessment team of 3 persons to conduct a field assessment of our testing center (hereinafter referred to as the “Laboratory”).
In the 2.5-day assessment, the assessment expert group completed an all-round review of the testing center's system documents and system operation status following CNAS-CL01: 2018 (“Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competence Accreditation Criteria”), CNAS-CL01-G001: 2018 (Application Requirements of CNAS-CL01: 2018 (Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competence Accreditation Criteria)), CNAS-CL01 Testing and Calibration Laboratory Competence Accreditation Criteria" Requirements", CNAS-CL01-A008: 2018 (Application Notes for the Accreditation Criteria of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in the Field of Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing) and CNAS-CL01-A003: 2018 (Application Notes of Criteria for Accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in the Field of Electrical Testing).
The assessment group assessed the quality management capabilities and technical competence of the testing center by examining the overall environment and the configuration and use of equipment, consulting quality management system documents and related records, verifying the ability to participate in proficiency testing, conducting on-site experiments and personnel interviews and special inspections of authorized signatories.
After rigorous and meticulous reviews and assessments, the assessment group agreed that the testing center meets the requirements in terms of management system and quality assurance and can operate effectively, and that the testing facilities, environment, testing methods, and testing personnel capabilities meet relevant requirements. The assessment group finalized a general conclusion that recognizes the laboratory’s accreditation and qualification accreditation. The assessment group also offered guiding opinions and suggestions for the test center in terms of specification sheet records, measurement calibration, supplier evaluation, etc.
Through the review, the assessment group agreed that the management system of the testing center operates well and the inspection and testing technical activities were effective, confirming that the test center passes the on-site assessment. This assessment further expanded and optimized testing capabilities of the laboratory and consolidated the foundation for our Company to standardize its quality management, expand its business, improve its credibility and authority, better adapt to market developments, and promote international cooperation with laboratories around the world.
